A riders first grade when he starts competitions.

Intermediate.

A rider is classed an intermediate once he has won three best Novice awards in Open to Centre or Restricted invitation events. (Closed to club events fail to count).

A rider will be upgraded immediately after his third win.

A rider will become expert if he scores over 75 points from 5 rounds of the Centre Championship or if he becomes a dominant winner in non-championship events.

Upgrading will take place on 1st January the following year.

Sidecars

There is no grading system in the Eastern Centre for sidecar competitors.
